NOTICE FROM THE BOARD
Its Been a turbulent Summer for Pittair's passenger airline with the crash of oil prices in late August the airline took a huge hit as the price of aviation fuel rocketed, and Pittair being a new airline trying to make its way in a highly competitive industry felt the hit the hardest, between the 15th of August and the 23rd of August, Pittair Passenger flights were Suspended due to lack of funds, Thankfully Thomson Airlines and Thomas Cook arranged with Pittair to supply Passengers who had tickets to fly back to the UK with Pittair Flights back home,
Due to financial Decline Pittair are making cost cutting measures to ensure the future of this family Low-Cost Airline However Redundancy's were inevitable and the has already put on hold the order we had to purchase a number of Boeing 737-600s to bolster the currently aging fleet and have had to put on hold the withdrawal of our Boeing 737-500.
At present the Passenger airline division of Pittock airlines T/A Pittair is unaffected but i would urge all passengers flying with us this quarter to check with the airline, whether that be by telephone or through our website, please check before you travel as the closure of the passenger airline division is not impossible due to the declining financial position of the airline.
Hopefully Pittair can weather this storm and come out booming but a uncertain near future is the reality but its not all over yet obviously every effort will be made to keep the passenger airline running but due to the Strict H&S laws as well as the stringent FAA & CAA Inspections of fleet maintenance and reliability and safety and if that cant be maintained then obviously we will have no choice but to cease passenger operations but lets hope thats not the case
Have a great autumn and hopefully Pittair will be back to how it was.
Good Day
